Rebecca Roanhorse returns with the perfect follow up to Black Sun. Our favorite characters try to graple with the destruction of the Sun Priest and their followers, along with the perpetual night the Crow God Reborn has brought in Tova. With the peace treaty broken, many leaders seek to openly (and secretly) gain power for their factions. Meanwhile, Serapio tries to heal from his wounds and figure out if he still has his crow powers.
Roanhorse's beautifully imagined world continues in turmoil as the Sun God and the Crow God fight for dominance. I can't wait to see what Roanhorse has in store for us next!

An unsurprisingly entertaining primer on Western Philosophy from the creator of "The Good Place". This is a great introduction to moral philosophy for anyone, not just fans of the show. I loved the writing style, the self-reflection, and, since I listened on audiobook, the cameos by cast members.

Side note: If you're a fan of the show, I highly recommend a re-watch while reading the book!
